  • Finally he has vacated the post! His constant interference in the running of SLC was astonishing. He was like a child with a new toy. Cricket in SL paid the price for his short sighted actions whilst he grabbed as much of media attention he could get.

    As for the new legislations? We have plenty of those in this country but corruption lives on. What we need is honest administrators who lead by example. Laws are just limited to a piece of paper in our society.

  • Our chief selector is a failure in every aspect. How many times has he been a selector and thrown out? I think it is the Administration that is retarded to keep bringing him back and giving him the opportunity to destroy the players. Self confidence is a critical element in any sport and this idiot doesn’t seem to understand this element of the game. Please resign ….. u r a menace and a failure

  • The level III coaching course was an initiative by ex HPC head Asanka Gurusinha. The coaches have benefited greatly from this course being conducted in SL at an affordable cost. This was one of many initiatives rolled out by Asanka. Makes you wonder why the media never reported on these great activities?

  • For goodness sakeAshantha stop blaming everything else when u and the the SLC Administration should be taking responsibility for the chaos u have created. We don’t have a proper coach to coach the boys. When did the Australians ever bowl up to u? R u stupid or retarded? It is the responsibility of a professional coach to get the player skills to play to the Australian pitch conditions and the bowling attack. Gun players like Khoi did not fall from the sky… they were nurtured by good coaching staff and responsible administration. U have chopped and changed so many players that these young minds cannot cope with the pressure and game situations. The administration is running around globe trotting in SLC account when the most critical aspects of the game is still to be addressed I.e head coach, spin coach, head of HPC.

    Please do the cricket loving public a favor and resign. This fragmented, self serving administration has to be shown the door before a team can be expected to play with unity and self confidence. Please please go away!!

  • She was very good at building her political aspirations on SLC account. She was allocated a huge budget and she travelled around the country in 5 star comfort. There was zero progress reported by her activities and that is why the contract was not extended. What administrative experience or skills did she bring to this job? She was a flight attendant and handing out food and drink was all what she knew. Has anyone accounted for the SLC millions she spent??

  • Sadly the SLC Administration currently consists of a head thug and looters. Shammi is clueless and we know it. Ravin is just abusing all the facilities to travel wherever he can fly to. Arrived in Australia long before the team I guess to collect more per diem. The day Gurusinha returned his vehicle, Ravin had flagged that he was taking it. The drivers work overtime carting the family members to where ever they please on SLC account. How much overtime has been claimed by drivers since this regime came in board?

    If Ramprakash is even considering coming to SL he needs to get his head checked or he must be very desperate for a job. A sensible coach would not even look our way given our pathetic reputation of mismanaging coaches and being sued following their departure. The moron Harin has been off the radar thank god as politics is taking priority atm. It was amusing to see this idiots face in the cricket news circles more than the players. What a pathetic set up. Shammi and his cronies are running after the tv deal before they get ousted from office. Everyone involved has another agenda and cricket suffers as a consequence. No spin coach… no one managing HPC…shame shame shame!
