“After 2005 some officials tried to shut down Cricket Aid. Nearly Rs.18 million was used by SLC’s then administration for different purposes. If audited the accounts will be revealed and we (present administration of SLC) have not misused any funds,” said Sumathipala who is aligned with the present set-up running cricket.

Nope! no one misused any funds, all the funds are there, its just not available to SLC. I understand the politicians think the rest of us are monkeys but this is just taking the mickey.
