Women’s Asia Cup: Sri Lanka Women bag first win

Sri Lanka women’s cricket team led by Chamari Athapaththu, won by 11 runs over UAE according to the (D/L Method) in their Asia Cup T20 match played at Sylhet, Bangladesh yesterday. Sri Lankan lasses were invited to bat first. However, it wasn’t a good start for the Lankan women as they lost quick two wickets in just 3.2 overs. They were 43/2 at that stage.
