1. Good analysis by vidu. SLC tour selectors should realize that continuing with some non performing seniors will not help SL in their preparation work for this years T20 WC. I am referring to Kusal Mendis and DDS. It’s obvious that both these players according to their present form are not good enough to be included in our T20 team. We will not have many opportunities in future assignments to experiment with more talented youngsters who are in the squad. For the second match both Kusal M and DDS should be replaced. Oshada and Dickwella should come into the team to strengthen the batting . DDS can be replaced by either Dhnanjaya Lakshan (or Ramesh Mendis but my preference is Dhananjaya Lakshan). Considering the very ordinary bowling of Akila Dhananjaya (who is not at all the threatening spinner we used to have in the past) his place should be given to an extra batter which is possible with the following team combination.

   2 Dickwella
   3 Avishka
   4 Kusal P
   5 Oshada
   6 Dasun
   7 Hasaranga
   8 Dhananjaya Lakshan
   9 Isuru Udana
   10 Dushmantha Chameera
   11 Nuwan Pradeep
