Very poor performance of Karunaratne, Gunathilake,Roshan Silva and Dickwella in both innings of the second test, handed a heavy defeat. Selectors/Coach should have opted Thirimanne instead of Gunathilake. It was unfortunate that Mathews sustained injury and could not resume batting.

It is. really unfortunate that Mathews sustained injury. He is the only batsman in good form.
Performance of Karunaratne, Gunathilake, Dickwella and Roshan Silva in both innings
is pathetic. Selectors/Coach should have selected Lahiru Thirimanne instead
of Gunathilake. He should not be selected for test match in future. He is good
for short format of the game.
