Zimbabwe's Coventry equals world record for highest ODI individual score!
August 16, 2009 - 08:23
Charles Coventry made 194 not out off 156 balls in Zimbawe's 312-8 with 16 fours and seven sixes to tie with Saeed Anwar's 194 v India. As I speak Bangladesh are 67-0 off 9.2 overs so on target in the 4th ODI...who know's this may really spur Zimbabwe's suffering fortunes in cricket and politics and its an amazing achievement especially given the appaling state of affairs there. I really hope it does in the country once described as the breadbasket of Asia and which produced fine players such as Andy Flower and Doug Houghton. Well played and best wishes!

Tamim Iqbal Khan made 154 as Bangladesh won comfortably in the end!
Wow! Would love to see some video of this.
This is Charles' profile on Cricinfo.
Found the video
Zim also seems to have found a big hitter. No one is there for us in the middle overs. sigh
