Bat First, Win Game!
As pathetic as our performance was yesterday, its a trend thats quite obvious in the last few games played in barbados.
Bat first, win game.
SL batted first against the Windies - they won
NZ batted first against the Paks - They won
England Batted first against SAF - They won
Aussies batted first again Ind - They won
Windies Batted first against Ind - They won
Aussies batted first against SL - GUESS WHO WON!
Our batting performance was pathetic. Except for Chandimal, everyone else should be shot lol - Figure of speech mind you!
But alot of it has to do with the pitch. It also appears, that everyteam batting second, somehow drops catches in their first innings.. its a trend boys
I will bet my life, IF the Aussies bat second against the Windies.. They will loose.
Im throwing it out there.. So no hopes lost yet. Even though I am ashamed of the way our team batted. but if we don't win the toss against India tomorrow.
We can kiss our chances bye bye.
BTW.. Sanath Jayasuriya, I Have no idea why he's playing. If its just for his batting, then thats really a shame. Sanga should've bowled him yesterday.
SANGA's and Sanaths EGO's are really effing hurting Sri Lanka's chances in this tournament!.

Yes even I agree with this, toss was crucial. But after getting 5 early wickets we should have kept the aussies below 140,the last 4-5 overs cost the match. I can't remember Malinga bowling many slower ones or a single bouncer.
Imagine if this competition was in the subcontinent and instead of bounce we had good batting tracks with the ball spinning sideways for the spinners? There would be complaints that the wickets need to be sporty. When it doesn't help fast bowlers and helps the spinners, the wickets are criticised. But not the other way around eh?
Yeah thats always the case... thats why i really cant stand the Aussies and all these people who support Fast bowling tracks.. its like they think spin bowling's not worth the cause, and it does not compare to Fast bowling..
WHAT BULLSHIT!
