    Agree with Arjuna.
The truth underlying here is that Sri Lanka ran Buttler out because there was no other way of getting him out. He played magnificently in the last game and the team was clueless and had no answer. Mathews identified the mankading as the best opportunity to get rid of the menace of Buttler, and upheld the appeal. If a player like Anderson was mankaded, Mathews would have rejected the appeal and the same Sri Lankan fans who are justifying the mankading, will then surely say Mathews did this in the Spirit of the game and boast about it. That is the typical behaviour of blind Sri Lanka cricket fans of modern days. I reiterate this; getting out a batsman with the help of unorthodoxy of a bowler is not a real or long lasting talent.
