Also get the 3rd umpire to comfirm or deny decisions taken by the standing umpires using the technology FULLY, irrespective of appeals by the captain. Also dont punish a fielders direct hit by allowing runs after that; ball should be dead with a direct hit. Also Don’t be petty not to allow a bowler to warm up his arm by bowling to a fielder. At least the club cricketers. THIS IS GOOD FOR CRICKET if ICC has any sense.

Hopefully the momentum will be maintained. It is obvious we haven’t got the right people in right places, especially selectors. Sooner SL cricket can be sorted out with right people at he right places on MERIT rather than politcal influence etc; the better it is for cricket as well as for the country.We have th talent. But they have to be in the right jobs/ places. at present we’ve got squares trying to be fitted into triangles.
Team Selection , batting
Team Selection , batting order, more aggressive keen fielding & coaching needs to be looked at it seems. Even as a club cricketer i can see many facets that can be improved. Gotta to have a good firm coach who will not treat the players with kid gloves & too softly. Some say they are over paid for doing less & less. Performance related incentives too will be a good idea.

it is so unfair to critisice Lasith for not playing tests. No one including the fellow cricketers who had influence did ensure he was cared for FULLY when he was injured. He was so shabilly treated by the board it seems. I doubt if Andy Flower would have done any different if he was in Lasith’s place. Get real!
