    Hi anonymous!
I was only going with the title sponsor’s theme, ‘REALLY SORRY’.

I don’t think Perera is test match stuff just yet.]

4 Wrong Decisions yes, one was against SL (Raina let off), and 3 were against India,

I am still puzzled Saurab Tiwary has not played given India’s batting woes. If they consider Jadeja as an all rounder they are in a lot of trouble. True Rohit really batted well at No.4 in the Zimbabwe series. He has been in the squad for a long time and still not played a game, does Dhoni have a grudge on him.

I think the move was good as Mahela did well to negotiate the new ball. I thought it was good for Tharanga, because he would have faced Pravin Kumar, the bowler who got him out 1st ball in the previous match. The rain factor was also there, Sanga didn’t want to get a chance, I think Sanga will use Mahela again if Sri Lanka are chasing and they need a quick start, may be thats what he said by ‘may be in the future’. Anyway isn’t it better to have versatile players in the side who can bat anywhere, normally players don’t like to do this. I think it is tough on Mahela (who bats No.4 to bat No.1) than on Tharanga (who bats at No.1 to No.3)

  • Aravinda De Silva, the chief
Aravinda De Silva, the chief selector had one thing to say to the media on his maiden press conference. If any body want to criticize the players pls don’t instead blame me, I think one person is not following this. I don’t selectors will so dumb to change the captaincy at this point, unless Sangakkara loses his cool and resigns the job. He is under pressure.

India have always got a ‘valid’ reason for their loss, I think cricinfo’s statsguru should add another item especially Indian matches. The Indian media and the team and some fans have peculiar reasons for their loss. Speaking about umpires, I wouldn’t like to forget Late. Prof Sharma, who performed the hat trick while umpiring.

  • Sanga had no choice to play
Sanga had no choice to play him. He was helpless. We could here from his comments. When he went to toss for one of the matches, he said Dilshan is our No.1 opener, then he opened with Sanath. In the first two matches he had batted at No.8 then all of a sudden, he was opening. How can a No.8 become an overnight Opener in the middle of the tour. It was these kind of politics/tactics that cost the side. They were not up to the mark. They couldn’t beat a proper side like Australia, England or New Zealand. Every one expected them to overhaul West Indies and Zimbabwe. They can be proud about the performance against India.

  • He was instrumental in
He was instrumental in putting Sri Lanka on the cricket map. Now he has become the thorn for us. Everybody feels young for themselves, but they should realize the ground situation. I wish good luck at politics, but please no politics in cricket. We salute you. Other good players need a chance
