Look how thisara came into the light. He was a wicket taking bowler, also useful batsman. But now he doesn’t get wicket and in batting he has no sense. Both these two have serious lacking in their batting techniques but they are not improving.

Same thing happened to other players. Kapugedera, Jehan Mubarak.

Talent is not the only thing. Look Sangakkara was not so much talented, but his hard work brought him so close to Aravind de Silva.

I want to say just one thing.
I want to say just one thing. If Mathews is full fit to bat and bowl, SL can afford Thisara Perera with 3 specialist bowler. Otherwise, Thisara should be out of the X1.

I liked these replacement plan. Tharindu Kaushal is an attacking spinner, I don’t understand why Sekugge prasanna was selected in the squad. Leg spinner is a good replacement of left-arm offspinner, I know. But Prasanna’s action is leg-spinning, I didn’t see any turn from him, just straight bowl. So, Senanayeke and Prasanna seem to same bowler to me, just their action is different, bowling is same, straight bowl.
