    Fantastic article. Well said. Cricket in Sri Lanka is slowly becoming a political thing. This is one of the games/other item if not the ONLY item that always brought Sri Lanka to the lime light for a good reason. Turns out, the one thing that made us shine is slowly being wiped out!

    Players like Kandamby were not even spotted anywhere close to the squad. Are they just show pieces? We need more players like Kandamby.
    The selectors are politicising such a beautiful game.
    We need a proper team. Good replacements once Sangakkara and Jayawardene retire.. We cannot have empty spots. !!
