  • BCCI trying to control world
BCCI trying to control world cricket spending huge amount of money, but they are loosing the spirit of the team in their backyard unnoticeable.

Money cannot apply to all situations. I guess a major collapse is above to happen in Indian cricket if they didn’t get it fair and right.

  • dear Mr. Anonymous
    If you are

    dear Mr. Anonymous

If you are really worried about mentioning names in the article, and want to take legal action why came in as Anonymous.

Do you really thinks the way India, Sri Lanka Cricket and some of stupid officials behavior is ok. I think Randiv has the right to ball a no ball at anytime and no need to apologize to all.

If someone has done it against Bangladesh or Zimbabwe, would they apologize or worried about it. I don’t think so.

It’s not about spirit of the game, It’s all about Huge sums of money BCCI spend on these tours. That’s the real reason behind this.

First it’s not an offense to ball a no ball at any time. And talking about the spirit of the game, mannnn, don’t try to talk about it these days.

It’s pathetic all the Indian team, Fans and Media giving excuses for loosing matches. First it’s IPL fatigue, Once it’s spongy bounce, then batting under lights in Dambulla, next came bad umpiring. what a shame. Accept your defeat, try to correct the mistakes and play real cricket. Remember Indians are denying the Review system. Then they gotta pay the price too.

  • The reason for this loosy
The reason for this loosy performance is not only one reason i guess.

We need rebuilding the team very soon or all chances of at least getting in to 2011 WC semis will be gone.

    1. Someone must set the Dilshan’s mind and tell him that he can’t hit every ball to the boundary. Recently it seems he is settling down to a more mature player in the previously concluded Zimbabwe Tri series, but once again he is loosing his head by trying to hit every ball to the boundary.

    2. Dilshan is also adopting to a fashion that to under-perform in big occasions as he done it several times. it’s important for the coach to talk to him and get his mind right.

    3. Team Selection is again poor as i think, Inclusion of Maharoof is a big mistake in to the final. you cant measure a player by just one game. getting a Hat-Tric is just a matter of time. I think Randiv should have been a better choice.

    4. All in all, coaching is not looking good. It’s coach’s job to give the team a plan and help individual players to sort their matter out. But still it looks like he is not getting is right.

i think Stuwart Law is a good choice for this.

  • I think meeting with Indians
I think meeting with Indians are too often happening. It’s not a good sign.
SRI LANKA cricket must have a plan to get teams like Australia, South Africa, England to meet more often than this.

because, Indias cricketers are very similar to us and their conditions are very similar, they don’t play good cricket at all. not consistence. If we want to get more experiance on how to handle better teams than India, we must play at least two tests per 2 years.
otherwise we play with India we win then lose , but nothing will gain

  • Ah, Are you serious about
Ah, Are you serious about this. I think Dilshan is a very good player but as a captain, hmmmm. i don’t think so.

Dilshan doesn’t have the captain’s qualities i guess. He gets angry very quickly, giving rough looks to other mates and also sometimes it looks like he is out of plans, drops his shoulders quickly.

First thing you need is intelligence. In that aspect Sanga is better. Also Coolness, well Sanga is bit hot at times but most of the times he looks cool.

Also as a captain you cant give up even it looks like double miracle will save you. You must be cool and patience and perfectly must show you are in confidence even in crisis, then rest of your team mates willl follow you. otherwise they also go down. I think Sanga is better than Dilshan in that aspect too.

If Sri Lanka want a good future in SL cricket, Angelo Matthews must be kept as Deputy to sanga till Sanga give it up, because Matthews is the perfect choice for the next skipper. In a very young age like this he showed lot of maturity.

  • It’s too early to comment on
It’s too early to comment on Aravinda in this capacity of Head selector at the moment. But definitely he has got a good cricketing brain than the previous selectors.

Resting or removing Mendis from the squad is a good move since Mendis is having a problem with his bowling. It seems that he is bowling too short and his consistency is lacking for bowling dead straight deliveries. I think Ravinda is correctly make the decision to correct Mendis technically. He needs to find a way to tackle the batsman with some new armory. With this break and with the help of Aravinda it’s not gonna be difficult for Mendis.
