Seriously..have you ever read Ceylon Today daily..
If you did you will realize how many times CT Staff highlighted Angelo from years from the days he played for St.Peters.
If you consider this season starting from List A, T20 and Sara Matches day matches Angelo got the top priority in the paper as he performed well in all the matches.
And CT didn’t had personal Agenda to highlight only Angelo Perera ,they also did highlight all the players who performed well in the matches Lahiru Abeyrathne who scored 433 runs in his first five matches , Tharindu Kaushal,Madhawa Warnapura, Malinda Pushpakumara ,Shehan Jayasuriya, Ian Daniel.. etc
And regarding the delay you mention..Perera was appointed as Captain on 28th and CT published that on first of March (Next day)
May be you don’t understand that News paper can’t print in the middle of the day and distribute on the same day to give Sport news.
Better shut your mouth on something that you don’t know. And the news was about the final squad selection from the pool selected before and appointing the captain. .. Writing for Website and News paper is two different things I believe you haven’t worked in a news paper to realize that. Once you experienced that you will get the picture.
