  • Haha Hilal buddy, you should

Haha Hilal buddy, you should move to a cricket-loving country! It’s amazing how he will arrive just in time to play the Cobras at Newlands and each team only plays one game at an away venue (not taking into account the semis). Don’t worry, I’ve got  a new camera and I’ll go mad taking pics…and posting them here. BTW AFRIDI signed for the Dolphins (the Durban side). All we need now is a big foreign signing for the rest of the teams (Ross Taylor for the Cape Cobras please) ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • He will arrive in time for
He will arrive in time for the %th Feb encounter at Newlands – I am going to that! Haha. And hopefully the Cobras will have a home semi vs the Lions so I can see him twice. I will take some picture, people. And this time, I am meeting him!

  • Actually, in South Africa

Actually, in South Africa there has always been political interference in sport. So you are not alone. There’s some sort of iterference in team selection everywhere – but in different ways and forms. The fact that last night’s triumphant Cape Cobras team consisted of 8 players of colour in the playing XI will in all likelihood see a couple of politicians in the Sports Ministry talk about transformation in the national side. Personally, I don’t care if the whole team is black or indian or coloured or white. We are all South African and if you are good enough you should play, irrespective of skin colour.

Anyways… I think Jaysuriya should be dropped from the ODI side. But since he has contributed so much to SL Cricket, he should be allowed to exit on his own terms. He is excellent for T20 cricket. But his day has come and gone in the ODI arena. It seems like it’s always the same side who play, irrespective of how series go. Why doesn’t Kapugedera bowl anymore?  And when you mention the "hangers on" who are you talking about? Because during the Champs Trophy, I saw SL fans who had been sitting in the partisan section at Centurion, sitting in the VIP section at the Wanderers. The players must of given them tickets. Personally, I think a new opening partner alongside Dilshan needs to come out of the closet before the World Cup comes along. Kandamby and Mathews are going to be 2 of the most important cogs in the team going forward.

  • Mendis is probably going to
Mendis is probably going to get out all the South Africans when they play against him lol. And he’s playing on Indian pitches. Have a strong feeling he’s going to do well.
And if Dilshan does well again then he’s got to be the undisputed batsman of the year.
