Captain has to lead from the front which is lacking in his case.He will soon lose the respect from his team mates unless he remedies this in Oman. Here too in the interview he just pampers all his failing team mates because he is unable to stand firm and demands the best from them. Rather than sinking with the captain the selectors should put in place alternative options as the then selectors did boldly in 2014 T20 WC where change of captaincy reaped us best rewards. Dasun Shanaka looks lost & lack of confidence whenever he comes to the wicket now, the enthusiasm we saw in the local tournament missing. Let alone the captaincy it looks he does not deserve a spot in the team now. He should turn the tide in the two games in Oman, if not sacking or dropping is staring at him.
