June 22, 2011 (Island Cricket): Sri Lankan selectors have replaced the injured Dilhara Fernando with right-arm fast bowler Dammika Prasad for the ODI and T20 series against England, scheduled to start later this month.
"Dilhara Fernando will be returning to Sri Lanka after an [he] injury suffered during the third Test match at Rose Bowl," Sri Lanka Cricket said in a statement today.
28-year-old Prasad bowls right-arm medium-fast, and has not played an ODI for Sri Lanka since 2009.
The limited-overs series kicks off with a solitary T20 match on June 25, and is then followed by a five-match ODI series beginning June 28.
