Wanindu Hasaranga, who was in isolation after contracting Covid-19, has once again, returned a positive result when a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) was conducted on the player yesterday (22nd February).
A PCR test too confirmed the result.
He was first found to be positive during a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) conducted on the 15th February 2022.
The player was transferred to Melbourne from Canberra and will remain in isolation until he returns a negative PCR Test Report.

Initially its cricket board was intimiditated by a player going to the media to force entry to the team. But the SLC kept silent & gave in.
Then again when his skin fold thickness is as high as 100s when it should be around 80s ,the sport minister intervened for political reasons at the request of a town councillor & asked the player to reverse his retirement decision.Why did he do so? The minister is forced give explanation in the parliament now for non selection to the Indian tour! What a laugh?
Now probably these political councillors set up a demonstration in front of the SLC ,shouting & screaming to show as it is by sports fans. On the other hand we hear from India two of his best players,Pujara & Rahane have been dropped from the Test squad.What a difference? Who is this player thinking of himself bigger than the game, none other than one described as a lousy cricketer by the internationally renowned Micky Arthur.
