Sri Lanka Cricket rewarded and recognized 26 players of the U19 squad, currently undergoing training focusing on the upcoming inbound tours, U19 Asia Cup, and the U19 World Cup.
The players were given financial assistance of Rs. 100,000 each for the commitment shown to the game after being identified through an island-wide talent hunt program conducted by Sri Lanka Cricket.
“During our playing era, we did not have adequate cricketing facilities and playing opportunities to enhance our game.
