Sri Lankan cricketers become cops

Police made giant strides in cricket last year and several prominent Sri Lankan cricketers have played a part in helping Police to their best season in the sport. They were on Saturday officially inducted into the service. Accordingly, Kusal Janith Perera and Chamara Silva were in uniform and are now Chief Inspectors while Nuwan Pradeep, Ashen Bandara, Malinda Pushpakumara and Priyamal Perera are Inspectors of Police.
