Sri Lanka want to speak to Justin Langer about his willingness to replace Mickey Arthur

Aravinda de Silva says Sri Lankan cricket power brokers are keen to talk with Justin Langer if the ousted Australian coach shares a reciprocated interest in Sri Lanka’s vacant coaching post.

Sri Lanka, who head into Tuesday night’s third Twenty20 international against Australia in Canberra 2-0 down in the best-of-five series, are on the hunt for a new full-time coach to replace Mickey Arthur after he departed the role earlier this summer.
Former Sri Lankan paceman Rumesh Ratnayake is serving as interim coach for the Australian tour.

De Silva, the former Sri Lankan captain and champion batter, is a member of the Sri Lankan cricket technical advisory committee, which provides guidance to the nation’s cricket board.
