    • Rehan,
It would be a good thing to offer some sensible comment like a true cricket fan instead of waiting for an opportunity to attack your most hated player. I think most of our batters (except two) have performed well al east in one practise / warm up match and I appreciate that. Although the pitches are totally different to what they played on in SL, with the help of Mahela they have quickly made the necessary adjustment to play on these quick WC pitches. That’s including Bhanuka (in the 2nd Oman match)

  1. Although PNG is not a very strong team I think our batters have done well. They are improving in every match including the two practise matches played in Oman. That’s a great thing. Today’s inning of Pathum must be specially commended as he has executed the plan of playing the anchor role inning. He is a perfect & technically correct (but non aggressive) batter ideal to play an anchor role while all other batters can be aggressive to score runs quickly. Even Pathum scored 2 sixes and 6 boundaries which make 62% of his total runs with a SR off 131%. Avishka’s SR was 160%. Both these players are only 23 yrs and have a very good future ahead and SLC must look after them very well and carefully.

  2. Susantha, man don’t sit on judgement.Everybody has the right to express their opinion. No one wants to follow your biased one. We are independent followers of the game & not scared to call a spade a spade.Sensible was Mickey Arthur & a few others, renowned persons’ opinions on Bhanuka as a lousy cricketer, their word.If he scores a matching winning knock in the next game,I would be one of the earliest to praise him. We have no favourite player or hated player. They are not our kith or kin. But as news paper reports suggested he got into the team by his thuggish behaviour ,going to the social media & making the selectors scared to drop him. And now he gives us double zeros & a couple. He should be exposed .So don’t talk nonsense to us, you mind yours.
