Sri Lanka to play World Cup qualifiers in Abu Dhabi!

Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi was established in 2004 with around 20,000 seating capacity

The Group ‘A’ matches of the forthcoming International cricket Council (ICC) T20 World Cup –featuring Sri Lanka, Ireland, Netherlands, and Namibia– are likely to take place in Abu Dhabi.

The Indian media, quoting the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), said last week that Abu Dhabi will host games of Group ‘A’ while Oman may host games of Group ‘B’ in the World Cup qualifiers this time.
