Sri Lanka’s Mathews joins Delhi Bulls for Abu Dhabi T10 League

Angelo Mathews has made himself available for all matches in the tournament, according to Delhi Bulls’ team mentor Anis Sajan.

Delhi Bulls have signed Sri Lankan cricketer all-rounder Angelo Mathews for the upcoming Abu Dhabi T10 League.

Delhi have picked Angelo as an extra squad member as a back up for Mohammed Nabi and Sherfane Rutherford, a press release stated.

  1. This could be first step that Mathews has taken to demonstrate his ability to join SL T20 outfit. If he is in good form & fitness he is the right person to improve our T20 performance which is in not good shape as we all witnessed in the series played in Australia. However he has few areas to improve his game i.e. running between the wickets / taking quick runs, not to play too many dot balls at the start of an innings,and outfield fielding.

    Lets see how he will perform in this series.
