It looks like that the selectors are going to play a team that consists of senior test players irrespective of their current batting form (mainly 4 out of the first six batters). Only Pathum Nissanka has performed well very recently in batting (but in T20 format) . So unless any of these four batters (except Pathum) find form in scoring some runs for SL. I would have preferred at least Aalanka is played over Oshada as he is the only batter who is in
prime form.. Winning the first match of the Test Championship is very vital for SL. Anyway Hope I am proved wrong and these out of form or out of touch batters will come back to their batting form to give some respectability to SL s innings.
You must be joking! So according to you, you want em to pick players over their T20 form? If we keep on changing players every single time we play Test cricket, we’d forever rebuild. Quit whining and just enjoy it😉
