Sri Lanka’s fast bowling coach Chaminda Vaas returned to his job a month after quitting over a pay dispute that was “amicably resolved,” the cricket board said Friday.
Former Test player Vaas, 47, quit on the eve of the national team’s departure to the West Indies last month. He stepped down days after replacing Australian David Saker.
I support Vaas!
Good end to this messy story and I know SLC hung Vaas out to dry but the reality its yet another “administration blunder” by SLC which nearly cost us one of the all times greats – something SLC will do with its eyes closed with no accountability of repercussions! Glad this ended well.
