I think Mr.de mel chief selector doesn’t understand the need of hour he is still selecting uSeless cricketers like kaushal silva ( As like he selected seekugge prasanna in new zealand series, what is the result? complete failure he even not able to take a single wicket nor did he scored runs)rather than giving chance to pathum nissanka. Again Dds get selected when he is a complete failure in australia and new zealand and selectors giving reason that Dds can help them in bowling then why they dont select kamindu mendis he is far better with bat and ball compared to Dds.
I think Mr.de mel is repeating the same mistake’s as our previous selectors like loobry and sanath in some way. Dont give chances to useless cricketers like seekugge prasanna, Dds , in odi chandimal in tests gunthalika, kusal perea rather give chances to young players.
