Malinga’s days as Sri Lanka T20 skipper numbered – report

Fast bowler Lasith Malinga’s days as Sri Lanka’s T-20 skipper are numbered as cricket authorities have given him an ultimatum that the team can not move forward with a string of poor results under his leadership […] Sunday Island learns that the authorities had spoken to Malinga and had informed him about impending change.

  1. We need to out of the box if Sri Lanka is hoping to emerge as a cricketing great nation again. Those selections of names rather than skills does not do anything. If someone can deliver give them the chance not to selfish players who think they are replaceable. In fact anyone is replaceable even if the experience isn’t and that is exactly why we as a nation should give a chance to the bench because they need experience. Just move on with who can deliver that is the policy in any other country.
