Young Naren Muralitharan is showing signs of following in the footsteps of his father, the legendary Muttiah Muralitharan, with his excellent achievements over the last year. In a recent game representing Gateway College Colombo in the All-Island Schools Under-15 tournament conducted by the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association, Naren scored 162 not out against Ananda Shastralaya, Kotte.
