Malinga wants Sri Lanka to be less indifferent to defeats

Lasith Malinga

Lasith Malinga isn’t a big fan of his team’s new-found indifference to bad days, their tendency to easily “move on” from defeats. When faced with a loss, looking forward to the next challenge as an independent proposition does help, but so does wallowing in pain, absorbing all you can as lessons for the journey that lies ahead.

Sri Lanka have had their fair share of failures in the past couple of years, and after their defeat to New Zealand have a choice to make. Malinga knows which one they should pick out of indifference and indulgence.
