Sri Lankan paceman Lasith Malinga had the last laugh on Saturday when he had been apparently successful in getting Sri Lanka Cricket to abide by his conditions in order for him to continue playing T20 cricket until the World Cup 202o in Australia.

I am not sure if Malinga’s conditions were for Anji and Perera to be out but I don’t like the idea of a player making demands on the simple principle that no one is bigger than the game. You cannot go around demanding “your way”. I am happy to see Malinga captain the team to the WC.
