Credit where its due and lots of credit to Malinga for a great year back in action after injury and loss of form. Agreed I was one of his critics but to be fair he was not bowling well which is why he went unsold in the IPL auction last year.
Despite the loss of pace and despite being taken to the cleaners ever so often, he is still doing enough which is credit to the great man. Fast bowling at the tail end of career is a tough one (just see Steyn’s struggles) but Malinga has hung in and come back and shown us all, just what he is about.
