Keeping wickets has helped my batting – Kusal Perera

For cricketers like Kusal Perera playing in only his second World Cup has taught them a few things that should help them further in their career. Perera is the leading run-scorer for his team in the 2019 Cricket World Cup with 255 runs at an average of 42.50 with a strike rate of 109.91 inclusive of three half-centuries. But Perera knows that his contribution to the team has not been what it should have.

  1. Glad to see this guy come through and for crying out aloud, please pick a spot and leave him alone there till the next WC in India where he could be a key player on flatter tracks. I cannot forgive the selectors who kept dropping him, yes he made a string of ducks, but I guess my point is now made, KJP is now our go to man!
