Kandy has Dambulla under the hammer

Kandy had wooden spoonists Dambulla struggling in reply to their total of 446 despite an excellent spell of left-arm bowling by former Sri Lankan spinner Malinda Pushpakumara who went onto join an elite club of bowlers who had captured 800 wickets in first-class cricket.

By stumps on the second day of the National Super League 4-day tournament match played at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Dambulla were 77-3 trailing Kandy by 369 runs in the first innings with seven wickets in hand.
