Kamindu hopes to return to national side

“I want to play all three formats in cricket and we have to adjust for any type of game,’’ said Kamindu Mendis, the promising cricketer who is a key member of the Kandy Falcons team at this LPL cricket tournament. Apart from his talent to bowl with both arms, and being an all-rounder, he is also an able top-order batsman who can play long innings. Mendis, a former Richmondian and National under 19 skipper, said: “We have to adjust to any position in the batting order. I used to open the batting or come at number three for my school team.”
