Jeffrey Vandersay ’’doubtful’’ for first Test

Sri Lanka’s 32-year-old leg spinner Jeffrey Vandersay is “doubtful” for the first Test match against India.

He twisted his ankle in the third and the final T-20I at Dharamshala last week and had to leave the field. His over was completed by fast bowler Chamika Karunaratne.

Earlier, team management was considering sending him back to Sri Lanka, but it was decided to allow him to stay in India.
