Hasaranga’s brother Chaturanga excels for NCC

Chaturanga de Silva, elder brother of the famed Sri Lanka all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga, came up with a fine all-round performance to give NCC a comfortable six-wicket win over Kalutara TC in a Major Limited Over match played at the NCC grounds yesterday.

Chaturanga took 5/15 with his slow left-arm spin to bowl-out Kalutara TC for 78 and then hit an unbeaten 28 off 15 balls (two sixes, one four) to see NCC over the line.
