Hardik Pandya to be dropped from India’s T20 World Cup Squad, Sri Lanka should also consider making changes

Mumbai Indians (MI) all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been included in MI’s line-up purely as a batsman and that has once again brought up his inclusion in India’s squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Reports are now stating that there’s a possibility of Hardik being replaced by Shardul Thakur or Shreyas Iyer in the world cup squad. The form of Mumbai Indians Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan has also become a concern.

Meanwhile, it’s high time for Sri Lankan selectors as well to consider making some changes to Sri Lanka world cup squad. Binura Fernando, Lakshan Sandakan, Akila Dananjaya and Pulina Tharanga are some of the players who have missed out the15-member squad. Replacement for injured Lahiru Madushanka is yet to be made.

Considering current form of players, some countries including India must be looking to make changes to T20 World Cup squads as International Cricket Council rules allow changes to be made till October 10th.
