I support the SLC view that rules cannot be bent to accommodate a player. We have been poor and unprofessional for too long and partly to do with a poor attitude around fitness. If we want to become a serious force at international level, we need to adopt high standards and the very least stick with them. No point setting standards and at the next breath breaking them to accommodate a player who refuses to meet the standard!
