Former South African paceman Dale Steyn is optimistic that the Kandy Tuskers could reach the semi-finals of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) T20 Cricket Tournament.
The 37-year-old veteran fast bowler is set to spearhead the Tuskers’ bowling attack when they take on the Jaffna Stallions, in a second-round fixture at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium in Hambantota today, commencing at 3.30 p.m.
The Tuskers are currently at the bottom of the points table and are battling for a semi-final spot along with the Galle Gladiators with both teams having recorded one win each.
