The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), which held the hosting rights for this year’s Asia Cup, has now given a defining update with regards to the postponement of this year’s edition as well as the one to be held in 2022.
As per PCB CEO, Wasim Khan, Sri Lanka will host the Asia Cup in June 2021 while Pakistan has earned the rights to host the event a year after in 2022.
“The next Asia Cup will be hosted in Sri Lanka in June and we have got hosting rights now for the 2022 Asia Cup,” he was quoted as saying by the PTI.
