AG directs Sports Minister to suspend Dhanushka

The Attorney General (AG) has recommended the Minister of Sports to suspended Sri Lankan cricketer Dhanushka Gunatilleka from domestic and international cricket with immediate effect until a verdict is reached in the court case against the cricketer in Australia. The Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe said that he has received the AG’s recommendation following the report submitted by a five member committee. The report covers the incident involving Dhanushka Gunatilleka who was arrested on charge of sexual assault.
