With a view to uplift standard of cricket in outstation schools former Sri Lanka captain and cricketer Mahela Jayawardhane donated cricket materials worth over Rs. 400,000/- to Hindu College, Mandandawela in Matale recently. This donation was made at the ‘cricket awards day’ of the school held on March 21 where Mahela Jayawardhana was the chief guest.
