Why is Sri Lanka not using Dhananjaya Lakshan and Ishan Jayarathne : Should Praveen come in for Akila : Sri Lanka's Playing 11 for th2 2nd T20I

Dhananjaya Lakshan -Sri Lanka’s LPL Hero and Next Angelo Mathews

  • It is quite rare to see a Fast bowling all rounder in the island nation. For those who watched the LPL and the Abu Dabi T10 Leauge, you would remember what a star he was, The man of the match in a leauge fonal where Chris gayle Played, WOW! If you didn’t watch it check it here -> https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hPJ4-eVayEg.
  • And then they don’t select him for a International team which is in POOR form, They selected him once in A ODI against England, and him known as the best swing bowler by Malinga, WASN’T GIVEN A OVER TILL OVER 23!!! So now when the team is Underperforming why don’t they give him a Chance in the powerplay @TeamMannagment ….
  • What about Ishan Jayarathne? The whole country is waiting for the experienced Domestic hero to get a chance.. He has been with the squad for 10 games now.. Still NO CHANCE Can’t they slot in Lakshan or Ishan as a replacee for Ashen, I mean they would perform netter than 9 (19) In a T20I!

Praveen Sri Lanka’s spin hero

 Innings – 8

Economy – 4.34

Average – 11.1

Wickets – 9

  • These are his T20 stats!!! Now look at Akila Dhananjaya.. True he took a Hat-trick but don’t you remember how he was hit for 6 sixes and what about when he conced 40 runs in 3 ovrs in the t20 yesterday… Praveen has made an entry to both ODIs and Tests well look at his stats can’t he play T20?
