My XI For the 1st T20 against England
4.Kusal Mendis (Vice-Captain)
Reasons for the XI-
- Ishan Jayaratne and Binura Fernando have a good bowling relationship in the Domestic Tournament like Ramesh Mendis and Praveen Jayawickrama in the test series in Bangladesh.
- Ramesh Mendis and Wanindu Hasaranga will likely become the core spin all-rounders in the limited over cricket.
- Dhananjaya Lakshan can get more swing in England than Chamika Karunaratne, who is more of a seam bowler than a swing bowler.
