we have already lost the series so it is better to give some opportunities for the others who are going to the world

It is great if Pulina Comes to the side, because Wanindu is unavailable for the qualifiers so, as wanindu’s shadow player  Pulina might get a chance to Play as an all rounder 

if Kamindu Performs well tomorrow he will be a great competitor for dananjaya’s place in the upcoming World cup…

  1. It was very much evident that, our spin department looked little thin with 2 new comers in Theekshana & Praveen. It puts lot of pressure on young Theekshana to come good, It is better to have Akilas experience in pressure games. I also would prefer to have Kamindu mendis & AVishka in Place of Charith & Chandimal.

      • Eventough he is not that suitable for T20, we cant afford to have too much inexperience in the middle, since we can have attacking players either side Kusal, Banuka and Avishka (Upto some extent), on the other side Kamindu, Dasun, Chamika & Wanindu. SO that he can play the Anchor role without much pressure at the same time, when he takes his time, he is smart as well as proper timer of the ball, which will be useful to get the neceesary boundaries.
        Other think is that, in the UAE, I dont think we will be able to play 03 spinners in the playing eleven, probably Chameera and Nuwan will have to be used, so that his part time off spin will come in handy as well. so we have to give him enough match time to finetune his t20 game.

        • aaah,with that point i agreed with you brother, you are right in UAE we have to use two main fast bowlers. and we have to use some part time spinners…and yeah its better if he comes to the form it will be an extra advantage to the team because he’s the vice captain as well
