Jaffna Stallions
Jaffna Stallions became the first to reach Hambantota for the upcoming 2020 Lanka Premier League (LPL). The team arrived at the official hotel in Hambantota today (16th November) after successfully completing a three-day residential training camp held at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium from 13th to 15th November.
Of the five teams at 2020 LPL, Jaffna Stallions was the first to begin training as a team and also reach the LPL premises in Hambantota. Remaining loyal to their mission, the squad keeps striving to upgrade their sportsmanship in all possible ways. The team will soon be joined by the six international cricketers after which training will be resumed.
The 2020 LPL is set to commence on the 26th November. This will be the inaugural edition of LPL Twenty20 franchise cricket tournament in Sri Lanka and therefore, a historic event in Sri Lankan cricket.
