Bangladesh got caught in the trap of creating a purely spin friendly wicket when Afghanistan have 3 wrist spinners!
Spinning wickets ALWAYS come down to who wins the toss and if the team batting last can survive on a detoriating wicket.
The last Galle test match where SL won against NZ was only won due to some extraordinary batting by Dimuth (and luck at times too).
I am raising this because Sri Lanka also make the mistake of creating these spin friendly wickets which ends up being dictated by the outcome of the toss.
We need to stop playing cricket like this because we need to aspire to be better. We are better than Bangladesh and should never be in a scenario where 3-4 spinners are chosen in the team. It is bloody embarrassing…
