The injury hit Sri Lanka cricket team will miss the services of five Cricketers for the 2nd Test starting this Sunday (03) at Imperial Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg, Sri Lanka Captain Dimuth Karunaratne told reporters today.

“Chandimal, Dhananjaya, Lahiru Kumara, Oshada and Kasun Rajitha are definitely out. But we are hoping Wanindu and Lakmal will make it” Dimuth said speaking about injuries.

Both Wanindu Hasaranga and Suranga Lakmal will undergo a fitness test today during the practice session, he added.

“They failed the fitness test yesterday, we hope they will pass it today, if they can’t make it will be unfortunate but we are trying to get them play” he said.

“Lahiru Thirimanne will bat at number 3 and Kusal Mendis at number 4, thiri has a good technic so we want him to bat in the top order” Dimuth said speaking about a change in Sri Lanka batting order.

Young wicket-keeper batsman Minod Bhanuka and fast bowler Asitha Fernando will make his debut tomorrow, according to Sri Lanka skipper.
