“There were quite a few challenges. We should have maximized the powerplay; it has been a concern in the last few series for us. The pitches will be a big factor, but we need to adjust to the conditions better. I am trying to play the best team in this series and we want to win the series, but I’ll probably try and see some of the other players also.”

Avishka Fernando has not had a great T20 average and with Dinesh Chandimal 50 in the 1st T20 and if Kusal Perea is fit then Avishka has to sit out especially with Kamindu Mendis form in the T20 Formant.

    අනික භානුක රාජපක්ෂ තමයි ඕනේ වෙලාවක එලියට පහරක් ගහන්න ඉන්නේ.
    දනන්ජය ද සිල්වා ,අකිල දනන්ජය ,ල T20 වලට හරියන්නේ නැති එක හරි.
    තෝ වගේ බූරුවෝ තමයි selection committee එකේ ඉන්නෙත්.
    නැත්තම් දනන්ජය ලක්ශාන් ,පුලින තරංග ,නුවන් ප්‍රදීප් අනිවා main 15 man squad එකේ ඉන්න ඕනෙ .

  2. අනික මේක T20 ලෝකකුසලානයට පෙර හොදට T20 ගහන් රටක් එක්ක ගහන්න හම්බෙන සුපිරි chance එකක් .
    මේකෙදි අපේ trump card players ල performance අතරට ගැනීම වැදගත් .
    ඕනවට වැඩිය changes හොඳ නෑ.
    අපේ හොදම 11 පැරදුනත් ඒ team එකම දාන්න ඕනේ .එතකොටයි එයාලට place එක පිලිබදව බයක් නැතිව තමන්ගේ game එකේ අඩුපාඩු හදාගෙන ඉස්සරහට යන්න පුලුවන් වෙන්නේ .

    දනන්ජය ද සිල්වා ,අකිල දනන්ජය දෙන්න T20 format එකට හරියන්නේ නෑ .
    ඒ වෙනුවට කමිදු මෙන්ඩිස් හා පුලින තරංග එන්න ඕනේ .

    භානුක රාජපක්ෂ අනිවා ගහන්න ඕනේ one down position එකේම තමයි .
    චාමික කරුණාරත්න දසුන්ට කලින් එන්න ඕනේ .මොකද දසුන්ට මගේ කලින් post වල දක්වල තියෙනවා වගේ pressure situation handle කරන්න තේරෙන්නේ නෑ.
    අයා finisher role එකට හොදයි .

  3. I also think the proposed team is a good experimental one for the present problems SL has after the failures in the first T20 match. It’s not a case of dropping Bhanuka from the team. But due to the no 3 problems, we must try our second option no 3 player who is Kamindu in the next match. It’s very important to have two options for the no 3 position when we start playing the WC matches.

    DDS should not be in the T20 team in my opinion. So playing Lahiru Madushanka is a good solution. If we have Charith he can do the duty expected from DDS. Playing both Charith and DDS is ma waste of resources.

    I hope the selectors will have the same thinking for tomorrow’s match.
